Hannah had her friend Jensen spend the night last night and we let them 'camp' in the backyard. We realize now that backyard camping is the way to go. After our second Memorial Day 'near-death' Melvern Lake camping experience earlier this year, we swore off tent camping for good!! Backyard camping was much easier. The girls had easy access to indoor plumbing and when they were freezing at 6 AM they were 10 steps from the nice cozy house.

I love the firepit. Where is that from? Would be a good one for the lake.
Lowes in Salina. It is on low in the picture, on high I think you actually roast a marshmallow. : )
