Prince's son 'pumping up the crowd'...

My nephew Griffin is going to be very sad. He and Coach Prince were good buddies.

Some of my greatest family memories involve K-State athletics. From early memories of my mom yelling for Rolondo Blackman to more recent memories with my family on bowl game trips and tailgating, most events in our house revolve around KSU games. Being a K-State fan is not always easy. When the news broke today that Ron Prince had been fired all I could think about was how hard it must be on his family. We have watched his sons cheer on the side lines and I can't imagine how hard this transition will be for them. That being said, I think it was the right thing to do and in the best interest of the KSU football program. I will be a fan win or lose. I hope we can salvage a couple more wins out of this season and MOVE ON. (I think I've been drinking too much purple Kool-Aid!)

Griffin can't figure out why we need a "new coach prince". I said he may go to a new school to coach and he thought maybe we could go to those games too!
