Mark was giving lessons at the driving range and heard our cheers. He thought someone must have chipped one in. He was shocked when his phone rang and it was Marcus saying he got a hole in one!
Today after Marcus' Jr. Golf lesson he called me to see if I wanted to ride around with him while he played a few holes. When we got to number two there was a greens keeper working on a sprinkler head to the left of the green. I told Marcus to be careful not to hit him. Marcus said that is where he usually hits it even when he lines it up perfectly. He showed me how he lines it up and then proceeded to hit. The ball hit the front right fringe, bounced once and slam dunked into the hole. I don't know whose eyes got bigger, his or mine!! What are the odds...I got to witness his hole in one, AND I had my camera.

Can't believe it! (Note to self: Bring camera everywhere. You never know what may happen!) Hope he enjoys the moment, some people will never EVER get to see that happen. (And by "people" I mean me!)

AWESOME!! Too bad I wasn't at the club..I could have used a diet pepsi this morning! Congrats Marcus!
