Surgery Day
So far: Up at 3:45AM, left the hotel at 4:30AM, got to the hospital at 4:50 to check in at 5
Checked in at 5:40...wait...wait...wait...wait...
So far: Up at 3:45AM, left the hotel at 4:30AM, got to the hospital at 4:50 to check in at 57:30 AM Came in and shaved 9 spots on my Mom's head in preparation for the MRI
8:30 AM to Pre-Op
10:30 AM Phone call to let us know they had just started the surgery
Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...I will Edit this post as we get more information.
Power Outage...geeeeez...never a dull moment
12:05 PM Surgery is complete...everything went as expected. She is headed to intermediate care...we are heading to get something to eat.
1:50 PM IMU was full so we are now waiting for my Mom in the SICU...this is a busy place. We should be able to see her in an hour or so.
2:50 PM She finally got to her room and is slowly coming out of anesthesia. We're taking it hour by hour. Keep Praying!!
5:00 PM Finally starting to talk and converse a little. My Dad asked..."Is there anything I can do for you, Darling"...and she responds with..."Why the heck are you calling me Darling?" and cracks a smile.
