This is what awaited us Wednesday night in the Little Apple...
Up at 3AM and off to the Kansas City airport...ready for a 7AM departure.

We watched a beautiful sunrise as our plane took off.

It was a pretty smooth flight. I didn't care for the decent into LaGuardia. There were some low clouds and all I could see on either side of the plane as we landed was water. I was very thankful when we touched down. This was our first glimpse of the city as we drove over the Queensboro Bridge...sorry about the blur, the cab drivers in NYC drive FAST!
