Our first adventure of Spring Break was the Fort Worth Zoo. My family wasn't exactly jumping for joy at the idea, but we had some time to kill since we couldn't check into our hotel in Horseshoe Bay until 4PM that day, so they went with it.
They soon became believers! This zoo is AWESOME! It is ranked the No. 5 zoo in the nation by USA Travel Guide and the No. 1 attraction in the DFW Metroplex by Zagat survey. If you are in the area...GO.
The weather was perfect, and the animals were very active.
The landscaping and enclosures were gorgeous! Waterfalls everywhere.
